Elev din Pitești, medaliat la Olimpiada Balcanică de Matematică
Lotul olimpic de juniori al României a obţinut patru medalii de aur şi două de argint la a XXVI-a ediţie a Olimpiadei Balcanice de Matematică pentru Juniori, ocupând astfel locul întâi în clasamentul pe naţiuni, cu un punctaj record. Cu patru medalii de aur (dintre care două cu punctaj maxim), două medalii de argint şi locul I în clasamentul pe naţiuni, lotul românilor a obținut un punctaj de 224 de puncte din 240 posibile, un nou record în istoria competiției! Printre cei medaliați cu argint s-a numărat și Emanuel Mazăre de la Şcoala Gimnazială

Controale la cinci primării din Argeș
Cinci primării din județul Argeș vor fi verificate de Instituția Prefectului. Între primăriile controlate se află și Primăria Călinești, unde edilul Mihai Georgescu, implicat într-un scandal sexual, a fost reținut și pus sub control judiciar. ”Verificarea activităților în UAT-uri este specifică Instituției Prefectului. Controalele vizează legalitatea actelor administrative, fond funciar, obligațiile aleșilor locali, Registrul Agricol, administrarea domeniului public, înregistrarea și soluționarea petițiilor. Pentru perioada următoare, luna iulie, sunt vizate de un control de fond, cinci primării din județul Argeș, una dintre ele fiind Primăria Călinești. Controale de fond vor fi și în celelalte UAT-uri în lunile următoare”, transmite prefectul de Argeș, Radu Perianu.
